Father’s Day with the Drop Daddies

Father’s Day – the perfect occasion to rock out with the Drop Daddies! It’s been a long hiatus since our last gig in January 2020, and we were ready to light it up! Mid afternoon temps were over 100 degrees at the Auburn Lounge patio in Danville.

It was a day of many firsts. First pandemic-era gig. First gig since we lost our buddy Jeff. With Xeno out of town, it was our first time as a four-piece. First time playing at Auburn. And it was John’s first time taking on the keyboard duties (sometimes playing with his feet!)

We were missing Jeff, but I think he would’ve been proud of us!
