Norms St. Patricks’ Day Party 2016

This was our 4th year playing the St. Patrick’s Day party at Norm’s Grill in Danville – on March 12, 2016. Unlike the sunny spring days in previous years, this year was full-on El Nino.  But the Drop Daddies wouldn’t let a little (or a lot!) of rain and wind stop us!

The corned beef and cabbage were plentiful and delicious.  The bouncy houses were slick!  A few brave souls even got out and danced in the rain, presumably after many rounds of green beer.

We played 3 sets of tunes- including a few new ones:  Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Need You Tonight and Santeria.  Our buddy Dennis came up and joined us on vocals for another new one- Living After Midnight.

As always, we had a blast, and look forward to a sunnier event next year!
